RULES OF AUCTION — v4 Auction reference: BB-2026-00003 Released: 22 Oct 2026 · 09:43 SAST 1. THE AUCTION 1.1 This is a timed online auction of the entire contents of storage unit U-20261022-3VPA5, sold as one lot, at 7 Sweet Street, Fourways, Limpopo. 1.2 Bidding closes at 22 Oct 2026 · 14:00 SAST. A bid received in the final minutes extends the closing time, so that no bid wins purely by arriving last. 1.3 This auction is conducted subject to section 45 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the regulations made under it. 2. THE AUCTIONEER AND THE AUCTION HOUSE 2.1 Auctioneer: Bid Budi (contact details not recorded) 2.2 Seller: SIPHOS STORAGE, trading as SIPHOS STORAGE Company registration: WE567890 VAT: 1777345678 Contact: gsat+4@gsat.co.za · 0828203007 3. REGISTRATION AND THE BIDDERS' RECORD 3.1 No bid may be placed by a person who has not registered and whose identity has not been verified. 3.2 A bidders' record is kept for this auction recording each bidder's name, identity number, address, contact details and the IP address of each bid. 3.3 A person bidding on behalf of another must lodge written authorisation before bidding. 3.4 The bidders' record and the vendor roll for this auction may be inspected on request. 4. BIDDING 4.1 The opening bid is R1 500. The bid increment is R100. 4.2 No written confirmation from the lien holder is recorded against this auction, so this document states nothing about whether the sale is subject to a reserve. 4.3 A bidder may set a maximum. Bids are then placed on that bidder's behalf in increments, only as far as necessary. A maximum is not disclosed to anyone. 4.4 Where two bidders set the same maximum, the earlier maximum prevails. 4.5 A bid is an offer. An offer may be withdrawn up to 0 minutes before the closing time; after that it stands until the sale is completed. Every withdrawal is recorded on the auction. 5. WHAT IS SOLD 5.1 The contents of the unit are sold as one lot, exactly as photographed, without any inventory. Nobody has opened the unit or listed its contents. 5.2 The unit was photographed from the doorway and from each corner, without entry, and sealed under the facility's own lock until collection. 5.3 Identity documents, firearms and other restricted items found in the unit do not pass to the purchaser. They remain the responsibility of the facility, which deals with them in accordance with its own obligations under the law. 6. PAYMENT 6.1 The purchaser must pay the bid plus a cleaning deposit of R30 within 2 hours of the award. The seller sets the deposit. The auctioneer collects it with the price and pays it to the seller with the proceeds of the sale; the auctioneer does not hold it for the purchaser and does not refund it. 6.2 The payment window runs during service hours (05:00–21:00 SAST) and is paused outside them. The absolute deadline is shown to the purchaser. 6.3 If payment is not made, the award passes to the next highest bidder. 7. COLLECTION AND CLEARANCE 7.1 The unit is opened once, in the presence of both the purchaser (or an authorised collector) and a named facility representative. 7.2 Anything that does not match the photographs is recorded, with a photograph, before anything is removed. 7.3 The purchaser must clear the unit completely and sweep it within 5 days of payment. 7.4 Whether the cleaning deposit is refunded, in whole or in part, is the seller's decision, made on the state the unit is left in, and the seller refunds it directly to the purchaser. To be considered for a refund the purchaser must attend the joint opening, clear and sweep the unit within the period in 7.3, and sign the clearance record. A claim that the contents do not match the photographs is settled between the purchaser and the seller. The auctioneer refunds no deposit and no part of the price of a completed sale.
